For those who may have previously followed us, we have existed for a few years but more as a passion project. Our interests have always led us to wanting to create and implement more meaningful work, and to be part of a team whose goals align with ours.
Given all that has happened over the past two years, we’ve felt an even stronger desire to be part of a movement to create authentic change and to work with other companies who feel the same. Climate change and social inequality isn’t going to be fixed overnight, but we want to make sure we’re on the right side of history. And it feels like now is the best time to start Blanked properly. So, here we are.
We’re a team of two (for now): Emma and Joe. For a while we didn’t know how to describe ourselves, we simply knew what our strengths were, but now we can proudly say that we’re a hybrid creative, branding and marketing agency.
We love getting to the heart of businesses, finding out what makes them tick and what their true values are. Finding the strengths and seeking the weaknesses, then applying that to everything marketing related. We’re strong on strategy and have a keen eye for design. We’re well-versed in a broad range of marketing skills and are passionate about sharing these skills with you.
We want to analyse your marketing activities - the good, bad and ugly - and, with a fresh pair of eyes, provide you with a new strategy from scratch. KPIs and all. We also know how important it is that you retain some element of control and creativity over your brand, so we want to provide you with the tools to carry out the strategy yourself. We’ll train you and your team in the areas you need help with and we’ll always be on hand to offer advice. In some situations, we’re happy to take on the practical implementation.
If you’ve not yet scoured the site, we also want to make the world a better place. Marketing hasn’t always had a great reputation (think spin doctors, dodgy PR and misleading campaigns) but we’re here to put your faith back into it. This also means that we want to work with companies who also share our ethos and values, or who are ready to make the change to more ethical marketing. Sweatshop and mass produced clothes stores… no thank you! Independent boutiques… yes please.
So, if you like the sound of us and think we’re a good match, we’d love to hear from you!
Emma and Joe
